Integrated Courses of ICAI on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS/ AICITSS)
Under the revised scheme of CA education, the ICAI will conduct two courses:- i) 4 Week’s ICITSS, which will replace Orientation Course (OC) & Information Technology Training (ITT); and ii) 4 week’s AICITSS, which will replace General Management and Communication Skills (GMCS) course & Advanced Information Technology Training (ITT) course. ICAI’s Four Week’s Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS) (in replacement of Orientation Course & Information Technology Training)
The ICITSS course of ICAI will replace Orientation Course (OC) & Information Technology Training (ITT) courses. Duration of ICITSS course will be 4 weeks (2 weeks for soft skills and 2 weeks for IT).
It may be noted that the Students registering for the revised CA Intermediate course of ICAI shall be required to successfully complete ICITSS before commencement of 3 year’s practical training.
Four Week’s Advance Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS); replacement of General Management and Communication Skills (GMCS) & Advanced Information Technology Training (ITT)
The AICITSS course of ICAI will replace i) General Management and Communication Skills (GMCS) course & ii) Advanced Information Technology Training (ITT) course. Duration of AICITSS course will be 4 weeks (2 weeks for soft skills and 2 weeks for IT).

It may be noted that Students undergoing Practical training shall be required to do AICITSS during the last 2 years of Practical training but they have to successfully complete the same before being eligible to appear in the Final Examination.
The students will be tested on “Information System Risk Management and Audit” under AICITSS. The students would be tested through online test paper/ OMR Test Paper conducted by the examination department which they would be required to qualify to be eligible to appear for Final Examination.
Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (Advanced ICITSS)- Information Technology Test
In terms of Regulation 29D(i)(iii) and 51E/72E of the CA Regulations 1988, candidates under the New Scheme of Education( implemented with effect from 1 st July 2017) are required to complete the Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (Advanced ICITSS) successfully.

Candidates are required to undergo a test after completing the Advanced Information Technology component of the above-mentioned course. Accordingly, it has been decided to conduct the Advanced ICITSS-Advanced Information Technology Test, an objective type test, with Multiple Choice Questions, in Paper-Pencil Mode, periodically.
Schedule of tests that will be held later, will be announced in due course. ICAI reserves the right to cancel the centre and allot the candidates to any centre / city other than the one he / she has opted for, in case the number of candidates who opt for appearing in that particular city / centre is not adequate.
