ICAI donated Rs.70 Lakhs to Kerala Flood Relief Fund


The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ( ICAI ) has donated Rs. 70 lakhs to the Kerala Flood Relief Fund.

In the month of Aug 2018, Heavy Floods in the State of Kerala Caused Extensive Damage and a Large number of People becomes homeless and many of them lost their Lives.

To provide relief to the affected flood victims in Kerala and support them in time of crisis,

ICAI took the initiative and Created a Separate Bank Account and appealed to its members and employees to contribute generously towards Kerala relief fund.

Our Proud ICAI Members as well as ICAI Students made contribution to ICAI created Bank Account as well as Kerala Relief Fund Account.

Mostly CA Pages on Social Media Like Cloud CA Etc Pages are Joined Together and Motivated CA Students through their Pages on Facebook, Instagram.

These Pages are also become one of the part of Contribution made to ICAI Created bank account and Kerala Relief Fund Account from Students Side.

ICAI as a partner to the nation since last 70 years and considering it as a part of its societal responsibility, contributed Rs 70 lac for Kerala flood victims.

CA. Naveen ND Gupta, President, ICAI handed over a cheque of Rs.70 lakh to Shri Arun Jaitley, Hon’ble Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs in the presence of CA. Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Minister of Railways and Coal as a contribution of ICAI to the ‘Prime Minister National Relief Fund ‘.
